A special concert awaits for us on March, 8 at 21.00 at the Ebe Stignani Theatre in Imola, famous artists with an amazing career and young musicians with a bright future will perform together.

Yuri Bashmet, pre-eminent viola player of the modern age, described by The Times as “without doubt, one of the world’s greatest living musicians”, will conduct pieces by Schubert, Benda, Brahms and Čajkovskij performed by the Moscow Soloists Orchestra, founded by Bashmet in 1984.
“The Moscow Soloists” is not a chance name; the orchestra is indeed composed by 30 extraordinary soloists graduated in international competition; their performances have met with passionate applause in over forty countries on five continents and their programmes stand out for their vivid nature, variety and interesting premieres.

Thanks to the support of CLAI, agricultural cooperative in Imola, the evening’s programme will include a premiere by Michael Nyman performed by the fourteen years old Martina Fabbri, talented flautist, winner of prestigious competitions, who has collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as the harp player Alisa Sadikova.
