The great American actor enchanted the audience of Diego Fabbri’s Forlì Theatre with Report on the Blind, a monologue based on Sopra Eroi e Tombe, by the Argentinean writer Ernesto Sabato.
John Malkovich starred for thirty minutes the main character of Report on the Blind: Fernando Vidal Olmos. The actor’s performance was magnificently accompanied by the Piano Concerto (1979) of the Russian composer Alfred Schinittke played by I Solisti Aquilani orchestra and the pianist Anastasya Terenkova.
John Malkovich’s monologue – recently in the cinemas with Unlocked Code– was preceded by the Concerto for Violin, Strings and Continuo in A-flat minor by Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 1041), performed by I Solisti Aquilani, along with the solo violin of Lana Trotovsek, conducted by Alvise Casellati.
