On Friday, November 10 (at 9 pm), the second edition of the winter season of ERF continues at the Stignani theatre of Imola, with Desirée Rancatore, one of the best soprano in the world, with the accompaniment of the pianist Marco Scolastra, challenging herself with iconic pieces of the Opera tradition: Verdi, Donizetti, Rossini, Bellini and other eternal artists.
She will perform a series of perfect arias: from the Verdi’s Otello and La Traviata, passing through Donizetti, Rossini and the sublime Bellini’s Norma, as well as Tosti, Gounod and Liszt.
Desirée Rancatore is a star of the Opera, internationally known for her way of singing grounded in a sound technical training: she is able to convert every concert in an extraordinary event.
Marco Scolastra is an esteemed professional pianist: he performed with the best orchestras and the music great names, moreover in the major festival and Italian theatres and also in many foreign locations, among which the Čajkovskij Conservatoire of Moscow, Tonhalle and ZKO-Haus of Zurich, Konzerthaus of Bern, Institut “F. Chopin” and Collegium Nobilium of Warsaw.
