On December 21st at the Ebe Stignani Theatre in Imola at 9.00 pm, the Orchestra della Toscana will permormed, conducted by Daniele Rustioni, and with the extraordinary Beatrice Rana, a very young pianist among the most highly valued in the world, a true talent that will perform with pieces by Mozart, Schumann and Rachmaninov.
The program chosen is based on one of the most beautiful and complex pieces in the history of classical piano, the Piano Concerto in A minor op.5 by Robert Schumann, a piece that the German artist took five years to compose. The other pieces will be entirely dedicated to the power and versatility of the Orchestra della Toscana, with the Symphony No. 2 by Rachmaninov and the Overture to the Marriage of Figaro by Mozart.
At only 24 years old, the pianist Beatrice Rana has already obtained the appreciation and interest of concert associations, orchestra conductors, critics and audiences of many countries, succeeding in imposing herself on the international scene. She is a frequent guest of the most prestigious orchestras in Italy and abroad and of the most renowned international festivals, she has performed with conductors as Riccardo Chailly, Joshua Weilerstein and Zubin Mehta.
The Orchestra della Toscana is composed by 44 musicians. The Orchestra performs rehearsals and concerts, then distributed throughout Tuscany, in his historical Verdi Theatre. The performances are broadcast on the national territory by Radio Rai Tre and in the region by Rete Toscana Classica. Winner of numerous prizes, performed all over the world, the Orchestra is conducted by the young and talented Daniele Rustioni.
Daniele Rustioni is the principal conductor of the Tuscany Orchestra. He has conducted all the major Italian symphonic orchestras, from the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia to the Filarmonica della Scala up to the RAI National Symphony Orchestra.
