On April 10th (9 pm) there will be the first concert of the concert series at the Diocesan Museum of Imola which will see the pianist Giuseppe Albanese as protagonist. The concert will take place in the Sala Grande of the Diocesan Museum.

Artist highly appreciated by critics and public, Albanese will present Invito alla danza: an excursus among the most significant melodies composed by nineteenth-twentieth century composers for ballets that have become masterpieces of the genre. Some pieces, originally for orchestra, have been transcribed for piano solo with particularly virtuoso elaborations.

The proceeds of the concert will be used for the restoration of the Sacra famiglia con San Giovannino, a fascinating oil painting of the second half of the sixteenth century.
