Friday, September 24 (at 9 pm) at the Church of San Francesco in Faenza, the soloists of the Musical Chapel of the Basilica of San Francesco in Ravenna, together with the Ensemble of the Sarti School of Faenza, will perform with music by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Boyce. The sopranos Elisa Stinchi and Annarita Venieri, the alto Carla Milani, the tenor Lorenzo Bellagamba and the guitar of Donato D’Antonio, conducted by maestro Giuliano Amadei, will be among the protagonists of the event.

A special occasion to listen to a baroque repertoire of great quality, with real pearls ranging from the Magnificat by Vivaldi to the Bach Oratorios, up to the famous Vivaldi Concerto for guitar and strings, in a place, the Church of San Francesco, which is a testimony of the late Faentine Baroque.

In the performance are mixed well-known soloists of the area as Donato D’Antonio to young talents with the Musical Chapel of the Basilica of San Francesco in Ravenna and young people of the Ensemble of the Sarti School. Founded in May 2012 by the collaboration of the vocal group Concentus Novus, the cooperative Mosaici Sonori and the Friars Minor Conventual Franciscans, the Musical Chapel is now a reference point for the study and dissemination of sacred music, while the Sarti School confirms itself among the best allies of ERF in proposing to young talents the challenges of concerts with great expectations.

Concert organized in collaboration with IN TEMPO 2021.
