The closing concert of the fourth edition of ERF in Winter/Teatro Masini Musica wants to rediscover and bring to the attention of the audience the many women composers and musicians from the sixteenth century to the contemporary.
On November 5th, time 21:00, on the stage of the Masini Theatre in Faenza, Dacia Maraini, among the most translated Italian writers in the world and one of the most attentive to women’s issues, will speak on “Musicians and writers in the era of patriarchy” accompanied by Lorna Windsor, soprano, and the Italian-Swiss Duo Des Alpes.
The programme will include works of nine female composers, including Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann and Amy Beach, the first great American composer.
