On Saturday, October 29, at 21, Emilia Romagna festival opens its first concert season at the Teatro Ebe Stignani in Imola, organized in collaboration with the City of Imola. Nine outstanding concerts running from Saturday to the closing event on March 28, 2017: international orchestra and famous artists from all over the world will give life to the great tradition of classical and chamber music.

The opening concert will feature a performance by one of the most important Italian symphony orchestras, the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra in Parma, conducted for the occasion by the young Chinese conductor Daye Lin, winner of the “6th Sir Georg Solti International Conductors Competition” in Frankfurt.

The concert program will include the performance of some immortal symphonies and opera overtures from masterpieces such as “Il barbiere di Siviglia”, “La Cenerentola”, “Aida”, “La traviata” and others.
