Come back in our region the most famous work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince, read by Catherine Spaak with the piano accompaniment by Corrado De Bernart.

During the years, The Little Prince became a classical tale because of its brilliance and elegance. It is a story that illustrates the complexity of the world and the human relationships in a way that is significant both for adults and children.

Catherine Spaak started from this idea to create a delicate, poetic, and exciting show. She selected some fragments of the tale, that assumed a simpler structure, to adapt it to the theatre.

Catherine Spaak is a monumental actress, she was born in Paris, daugther of an eminent family of politicians and artists. She moved in Italy where she wrote the story of the Italian cinema, acting in film like Il sorpasso and L’armata Brancaleone with Vittorio Gassman, Io e Caterina with Alberto Sordi, Il gatto a nove code by Dario Argento e Febbre da cavallo with Gigi Proietti. She demonstrated to be sharp as journalist, writer, presenter and creator of TV programmes.

Corrado de Bernard is an exceptiomal pianist and harpsichord player, he performs as soloist, duo, and in various chamber ensemble, both as pianist and harpsichord player. For this performance he chose a selection of pieces of great composers: Luis Bacalov, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman and Erik Satie.

The performance will be on Friday, November 3 at 9 pm at Teatro Masini di Faenza.
