A journey through the three cantiche. Paradiso: in the angelic light

Last stage of Elena Bucci’s Dante’s journey to Emilia Romagna Festival.

Thursday, July 29 at 9pm, the reciting voice of Elena Bucci accompanied by the harp and flute of the young and talented Duo Psyche proposes to the public, through the rite of reading in music, “A journey through the three cantiche. Paradiso: in the angelic light”, a tribute to the power of poetry to illuminate the present while coming from far away, but also a dedicated to the land of the romagnol actress, director and author.

The program of the music opens with the Sonata by Nino Rota for flute and harp, composed in 1937 and considered one of the greatest chamber works, a precursor of the famous film music that would later compose Rota. It then continued with two pieces by Claude Debussy, including the famous Clair de Lune, the Berceuse in D major by Gabriel Faurè, until closing with the Canon in D major by Johann Pachelbel, considered one of the milestones of Western classical music.
