The international celebrity of the violin Stefan Milenkovich is coming to our festival!
Friday, August 3 (9.15 pm) at the enchanting Sala delle Stilate of the Pomposa Abbey, in Codigoro, Stefan Milenkovich will perform in “Divini Capricci”, a concert of extreme difficulty that will highlight its great technique and versatility. With music by Bach, Ysaÿe, Paganini and Kreisler.
Milenkovich will perform again for the Emilia Romagna Festival, two days later: on August 5th (12.00) he will receive the “IX ERF Career Award” at Tredozio, performing at the violin and conversing with the artistic director Massimo Mercelli. Exceptional location will be Palazzo Fantini, the historical architectural complex that opens every year to the public on the occasion of the festival. The sweetness of the vision, the aromas and the landscape will unite the taste of the wines chosen by the Azienda Agricola Comparini of Empoli, for a restorative event … in every sense.
All’interno di un festival dedicato principalmente alla musica classica, non potevano mancare due appuntamenti tutti dedicati al principe della musica classica: sua maestà il violino. Interprete d’eccezione sarà il grande violinista serbo Stefan Milenkovich, uno dei più grandi musicisti al mondo. Violinista straordinario, dotato di raffinata tecnica e precisione nell’esecuzione, dal suono pulito e scintillante, Milenkovich ha saputo coltivare un dono quasi divino. Seppur ancora giovane, la sua carriera dura ormai da decenni, frutto di un talento precocissimo che forse, non fosse stato sostenuto dall’amore sfrenato per lo strumento, avrebbe rischiato di bruciarlo. Conosciuto in Italia fin da quando, molti anni fa, quando era ancora un bambino prodigio, fu ospite nei programmi di Pippo Baudo – sempre attento alla musica di alto livello – Milenkovich è perfetto nel suono, scientifico nelle frasi, capace di geniali virtuosismi, dotato oltre tutto di un delicato senso dell’autoironia. “Divini Capricci” sarà una sfida lanciata a se stesso, con brani dalla difficoltà inimmaginabile: Paganini, Kreisler, Bach, Ysaÿe.

An extraordinary violinist, with a refined technique and precision in the execution, with a clean and sparkling sound.
