The blues, Scarlatti, a song of Gerswin, his own piece that tells a unique story. Pieranunzi’s solo piano challenges commonplaces and laws of geometry by making jazz and classical two parallels that come together.
It happened very early in his musical life, when the sounds of Parker, Django, Konitz and Chet Baker lived alongside those of Bach and Chopin. It still happens today, more and more, in his free, very personal pianism. Unlimited.
