The pianist Danilo Rea, one of the main protagonists of the Italian and international jazz scene, offers his personal tribute to the unforgettable Faber in Comacchio on Sunday 16 August (9 pm).

Danilo Rea meets the great Genoese singer-songwriter performing a repertoire full of references and deeply evocative sounds. The touching jazz reinterpretation will offer some of the most famous songs by the great Fabrizio De Andrè, such as “Bocca di Rosa”, “Caro Amore” and “La Canzone di Marinella”. Songs that have now entered the musical tradition of our country, where the name of Fabrizio De André certainly needs no introduction to be able to evoke, in addition to unique atmospheres, the memory of the words of fire that many consider poetry. Words that, with the reinterpretation of Danilo Rea, will give way to sophisticated melodies, also enriched by the arrangements. The project is now a milestone in Rea’s artistic life, and in almost ten years it has traveled thousands of kilometers, seducing Italian and European audiences. In recent years the plots of the musical story have been strengthened, balancing the pieces that make up the concert for solo piano, refining each passage.
