With the young and talented Ruben Xhaferi it opens – Tuesday, July 13 (21 hours) at the Rocca di Bagnara di Romagna – “First Prize”, the historic section of Emilia Romagna Festival dedicated to young artists from the most important international music competitions.
Born in 2005, Ruben Xhaferi, at the age of nine, won the first overall prize in the category up to 11 years at the international competition “Andrea Baldi” in Bologna, a competition that offers great opportunities to young piano talents. Today, sixteen, he is already known in the major competitions at national and international level and performs for important associations throughout Italy. Of Albanian origin raised in Veneto and son of art, Ruben Xhaferi now studies at the Conservatory of Bologna under the guidance of Maestro Sandro Baldi, founder of the Baldi Competition, and has entered the ranks of young talents of the Association “Pianofriends” founded by the Masters Catia Iglesias and Vincenzo Balzani.
Endowed with an unusual sensibility, Ruben, at the Rocca di Bagnara, will face the eclecticism of the nineteenth century, beginning with a son of the eighteenth century like Beethoven, passing through Chopin and Liszt, a real treatise on piano, an examination with the audience in the room.
