The well-known violinist Uto Ughi will open the 18/19 music season. Accompanied by the pianist Andrea Bacchetti, he will perform in “Note d’Europa”, a concert taken from his latest album for Sony Classical, devoted to the best violin compositions produced by the Old Continent, with works by important artists from Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Germany. Uto Ughi, the main proponent of the modern Italian Violin School, will arrive bringing with him the two beautiful violins that accompany him everywhere: a Guarneri del Gesù of 1744, a marvellous dark voice artefact and the legendary “Kreutzer” the 1701 Stradivarius that belonged to the violinist which Beethoven dedicated the famous Sonata.

Part of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Telethon Foundation for the treatment of rare genetic diseases.
